JULY-DECEMBER 2022
Vol. 6 No. 2 (2022)The development of science related to economics, management, and technology both theoretically and empirically has been proven to have a positive impact on various aspects of people's lives. Economic development and management, for example, have provided many benefits for increasing effectiveness and efficiency in various economic activities. Likewise, technology can contribute to the ease of carrying out administrative tasks both government and non-government institutions. Until now, research related to economics, management, and technology has been carried out by academics, practitioners and researchers who care about the field of science. But not all research results can be published in scientific journals. The presence of the Journal EMT KITA does not only intend to publish the results of empirical and theoretical studies relating to managerial economics and technology. But more than that, EMT is one way to disseminate research results related to the three fields of science. Volume 6 Number 2 contains interesting research results that are read and known about studies taking place in the community in Indonesia.

Financial performance of SKPK (regional work unit) finance managers is shown to be influenced by organizational commitment and clarity of role execution. Digitalization is advanced as a revitalization strategy for micro, small, and medium enterprises during the pandemic, aligning with a companion study detailing shifts in online marketing patterns and barriers to adoption. A panel data analysis evaluates differentiated impacts of regional GDP (PDRB), the BI policy rate, and the Human Development Index (HDI) on bank savings. Absorption of SME investment credit in Aceh is examined in terms of access constraints and administrative readiness. Strategic flexibility of brick kiln enterprises post COVID-19 shock is linked to diversification, cost efficiency, and demand adaptation. JANUARY-JUNE 2018
Vol. 2 No. 1 (2018)Volume 2 No. 1 (January–June 2018) presents studies covering retail service quality enhancement, political institutional strengthening, regional fiscal effectiveness, civil servant productivity, and operational efficiency in firms. The first article assesses service quality perceptions and customer satisfaction in Banda Aceh shopping centers using the SERVQUAL method, identifying gaps between expectations and performance across tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy as a basis for service improvement strategies. The second study formulates a model for revitalizing social capital (trust, networks, and norms) to improve the functional performance of members of parliament, emphasizing transparency, public participation, and strengthened ethical representation. Research on Special Autonomy Funds examines the emergence of the flypaper effect in Aceh—whether central transfers (especially special autonomy funds) more strongly stimulate regional spending than efforts to raise own-source revenues—and its implications for fiscal independence. The subsequent study analyzes the influence of the effectiveness of regional tax and user charge collection on the locally generated revenue (PAD) of East Aceh Regency, highlighting the roles of intensification–extensification, taxpayer database quality, and administrative capacity. Factors affecting the work productivity of employees at the Aceh Culture and Tourism Office are examined through variables such as competence, discipline, motivation, work environment, and leadership, with recommendations for targeted training and an output-based performance evaluation system. Finally, the application of the min–max stock method for raw material inventory control at apparel company Gober Indo demonstrates how correctly setting minimum and maximum thresholds can reduce stockout risks and holding costs, supporting smooth production and working capital turnover. Overall, this issue underscores the interconnection between good governance, optimization of resources (human, fiscal, social), and the application of quantitative managerial tools as a foundation for performance improvement across public and private sectors in Aceh.

JULY-DECEMBER 2017
Vol. 1 No. 2 (2017)The July–December 2017 issue (Vol. 1 No. 2) presents six studies unified by themes of digital service adoption, internal governance, organizational performance, public sector financial reporting capacity, comparative platform user experience, and mobile advertising psychology. The first article analyzes how facets of customer satisfaction—perceived reliability, ease of use, security, and responsiveness—drive both intention and frequency of mobile banking usage at BCA’s Banda Aceh branch, underscoring trust and value creation as levers for deeper engagement. The second examines the relationship between internal control system effectiveness (control environment, segregation of duties, authorization, documentation, monitoring) and credit performance at Bank Bukopin Banda Aceh, linking stronger controls to healthier loan quality and risk mitigation. The third study shows that supportive leadership style combined with cohesive teamwork elevates employee performance at the local branch of the state electricity utility (PT PLN), reinforcing the interplay between managerial behavior and collective efficacy. The fourth investigates how government staff accounting knowledge and practical experience affect the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regional financial statement preparation in the Banda Aceh City Government, highlighting the need for sustained professional development to enhance reporting quality. The fifth provides a comparative user experience assessment of Ho-Jak, Go-Jek, and Grab ride-hailing services, mapping user perceptions on reliability, speed, pricing fairness, interface usability, and safety as determinants of platform preference. The final article evaluates how the perceived intrusiveness and irritation of Mobile AdSense advertisements shape smartphone user responses, offering implications for designing less disruptive, more user-aligned mobile ad formats. Collectively, the issue emphasizes that service quality perceptions, robust internal controls, human capital competencies, and user-centered design principles are mutually reinforcing drivers of performance and adoption across banking, public administration, transportation platforms, and digital advertising ecosystems. The studies converge on a practical message: optimizing structural systems (controls, processes), cultivating capable and collaborative personnel, and aligning digital touchpoints with user expectations are critical to sustaining trust, efficiency, and engagement in both private and public sector contexts.

JANUARY-JUNE 2017
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017)The inaugural issue (Vol. 1 No. 1, January–June 2017) brings together six studies spanning regional economic dynamics, creative industry development, consumer behavioral psychology in modern retail, cooperative organizational performance, public utility service quality, and workplace psychosocial factors in Islamic banking. Collectively they weave a unifying message: strengthening human capital (emotional intelligence, cognitive and personal capabilities, leadership), designing supportive physical and social environments (retail atmospherics, service interfaces), nurturing local creative economic clusters for inclusive welfare gains, and addressing structural inequality and job-related stress are interdependent levers for sustainable regional development and organizational effectiveness. The first article, Economic Growth and Income Inequality: Panel Data from Eight Provinces in Sumatra, analyzes how differences in economic structure, investment, and resource distribution shape interprovincial disparities, underscoring the role of production diversification and infrastructure equalization in narrowing gaps. The second, Mapping the Creative Industry Craft Subsector and Its Impact on Community Welfare in Aceh Besar Regency, evaluates how clustering, market access, design training, and local value chains elevate household income while preserving cultural heritage. The third, The Influence of Environmental Stimuli and Social Factors on Shopaholic Tendencies with Positive Emotion as a Mediating Variable among Suzuya Mall Consumers in Banda Aceh, shows how store layout, lighting, scent, promotions, and social interactions amplify impulsive buying via enhanced positive affect. The fourth, The Effect of Emotional Intelligence, Cognitive Behavior, Personal Ability, and Leadership Competence on Cooperative Performance in Aceh Province, highlights that soft skills and transformational leadership strengthen operational efficiency, member engagement, and cooperative sustainability. The fifth, Public Responses to the Water Bill Payment Service of PDAM Tirta Daroy Banda Aceh, assesses accessibility of payment channels, meter reading accuracy, complaint handling speed, and billing transparency as drivers of customer satisfaction and payment compliance. The sixth, The Effect of Sources of Work Stress on Employee Productivity at PT Bank Aceh Syariah Banda Aceh Branch, links workload, target pressure, role ambiguity/conflict, and emotional demands to productivity outcomes, emphasizing the need for balanced job design, organizational support, and stress management to prevent burnout. Together, the studies integrate macro (growth and inequality) and micro (individual behavior and service quality) lenses to inform inclusive, human-centered regional development strategies.
